Interpretation In Pursuance Of Books Beyond the Dead Forest

It just appeared one day out of nowhere—a dead forest that the partners had never seen before. Carter and Kat think they know every tree, river, and rock within five miles of their homes, but this section of wood, completely devoid of life, was not supposed to exist. Stepping through a doorway into a bizarre world filled with darkness, terror, and death, they embark on a quest to discover the greatest treasure of all. Aided by a strange old man they called the Guardian, and armed with spiritual weapons, their wits, and a growing arsenal of wisdom, they battle against forces of darkness that are determined to destroy them. Hitch a wild ride with the arrogant Mr. Stewborn with a raving madman in hot pursuit. Come stay awhile in the inescapable People Rule Inn and experience a place where nightmares are real. Travel through the depressing Valley of Shadows, and meet dark creatures you have never imagined. Join Carter and Kat as they venture Beyond the Dead Forest and discover, with our heroes, the unsurpassable riches of wisdom that can empower you to change your life and your world.

Crit Out Of Books Beyond the Dead Forest
This was a VERY fun read. This book was not your usual fantasy. Steve Groll used it as a tool to share that good over evil will win every time, which I think is wonderful. There are too many books out there that show that evil is fun and good. This was a GREAT book! The two main characters, Kat and Carter were very well developed. They find a forest that is not like any forest they had ever been in. They had tried taking pictures of it so they could show everyone, and the pictures didn't turn

As I began to read Steve Grolls book, Beyond the Dead Forest, I didnt know I was about to enter a truly fascinating place where strange events, twists and turns would appear along the imaginary journey. Steves excellent imagination certainly kept me on my toes as the many layers of mystery began to unfold, revealing a new lesson at every turn. Stephen masterfully created a fascinating allegory, entwined with faith that will appeal to tweens, young adults and the young at heart. Superbly done,

Monsters...check. Classic battle of good vs evil...check. Creative way of teaching bible stories...check. It seems like Mr. Groll pretty much covered everything! Beyond the Dead Forest is not your typical young adult novel. Actually, I cant say Ive ever read anything like it before. Carter and Kat are two friends who love to go exploring. When they stumble upon a random and mysterious forest that seems to come out of nowhere, the two adventurers are faced with the challenge of a lifetime. Are

Steve Groll has written and published his first novel, Beyond the Dead Forest. Groll has worked with children and families for over 40 years. Steve's goal is to write suspenseful adventures that take place in strange worlds and that are both intriguing and profound. Though his novel is geared to older children and younger youth, many adults enjoy the excitement, and wonder at the wisdom found in

Beyond the Dead Forest is an awesome adventure full of unforgettable characters and a plot worthy of the literary masterpieces of old. The book follows the adventures of the Partners (aka Carter and Kat) who love to go exploring together. They find a dead forest that they knew wasn't there a few days ago (because they know the area around their town like the backs of their hands) and go exploring in it. They then find themselves in another world called Dearth, which is under great suffering

Beyond the Dead Forest by Stephen Groll is so good that I hated to put it down to get some work done. My 12 year old grandson and I really bonded over it. The lessons in it are deep and are great for discussions.I have never read a fantasy book like this... one. The characters are like children we all know and love. When we came to the end of a chapter, my grandson always wanted me to press on...That is saying a lot. God job, Mr. Groll.Elaine Littau, author of Christian Historical/Western

This book was a departure from the kind of books I normally read but I have to say I really enjoyed it.It took me a little time to get into it at first but to be honest that was down to me and time constraints more than anything else. There was an element of fantasy to the story which I wouldn't normally be drawn to when choosing a book to read but I've got to say it's opened up the range I would read now. The characters were well developed and it was very easy to put yourself in their shoes and
