I really enjoyed reading The Toll even though it wasnt as good as Scythe and Thunderhead. Especially while reading Thunderhead one of my favorite things about the book was how much it surprised me. It continuously kept me at the edge of my seat because it didnt see any of the plot twists coming. My main problem with this finale is that it tried too much and it expanded the story on a worldwide or a universal scale and sometimes too much
