Explanation In Pursuance Of Books Christmas at Tiffany's (At Tiffany's #1)

Three cities. Three seasons. One chance to find the life that fits.

Cassie settled down too young, marrying her first serious boyfriend. Now, ten years later, she is betrayed and broken. With her marriage in tatters and no career or home of her own, she needs to work out where she belongs in the world and who she really is.

So begins a year-long trial as Cassie leaves her sheltered life in rural Scotland to stay with each of her best friends in the most glamorous cities in the world: New York, Paris and London. Exchanging grouse moor and mousy hair for low-carb diets and high-end highlights, Cassie tries on each city for size as she attempts to track down the life she was supposed to have been leading, and with it, the man who was supposed to love her all along.

Criticize About Books Christmas at Tiffany's (At Tiffany's #1)
After Cassie's 10-year marriage ends she decides to spend a year long trial with each of her girlfriends in NY, Paris & London in search of her new life. This book was long, but the storyline kept me interested & curious on how Cassie's year was going to end.

Really enjoyed this book. Easy to read but very hard to put down.

Oh my. I've just stayed up way past my bedtime because I had to finish this book. From the cover and synopsis, I'd expected a light hearted, fun story. It was so much more. For basically the entire last third of the book, this was me: Honestly, I went from laughing to crying to smiling to crying again every 5 minutes. I'm sure I looked insane. I don't want to spoil any of the plot points as I think that'd take a lot from the story, but unless I'm just being a cry baby, have tissues at hand. I

With the way this novel starts out, I had an idea that it was going to be along the lines of The Devil Wore Prada somewhat crossed vaguely with Sex in the City, but set in three cities. I obviously did not do enough research into this book. I only knew that it had to do with a married woman (Cassie) being jilted by her husband and taking some time to recover in three major cities. I was very, very wrong. This book was so much more than that. I thought that it would be a chick-lit, frothy;

5 "Yours if you want it" stars! Christmas at Tiffanys is an absolutely wonderful story, and even though chick-lit isnt my genre of choice, this book had me laughing, sighing, and wishing it would never end! No, seriously I did not want this story to end!BlurbThree cities. Three seasons. One chance to find the life that fits.Cassie settled down too young, marrying her first serious boyfriend. For days, my blogging readers have fallen for the clues I have left behind thinking I have traveled to New York, Paris, Venice and London, but in reality I have simply been sharing some of the incredible insights I have gotten from Karen Swan's latest novel Christmas at Tiffany's. I found myself looking up interesting tidbits as I came across them to get a real feel for the places Cassie Fraiser finds herself traveling to. From the sparkling water drinking fountains in Paris, to the famous Kiss
