Really enjoyed this book. Easy to read but very hard to put down.
Oh my. I've just stayed up way past my bedtime because I had to finish this book. From the cover and synopsis, I'd expected a light hearted, fun story. It was so much more. For basically the entire last third of the book, this was me: Honestly, I went from laughing to crying to smiling to crying again every 5 minutes. I'm sure I looked insane. I don't want to spoil any of the plot points as I think that'd take a lot from the story, but unless I'm just being a cry baby, have tissues at hand. I
With the way this novel starts out, I had an idea that it was going to be along the lines of The Devil Wore Prada somewhat crossed vaguely with Sex in the City, but set in three cities. I obviously did not do enough research into this book. I only knew that it had to do with a married woman (Cassie) being jilted by her husband and taking some time to recover in three major cities.
