Relation Toward Books Rebel Spring (Falling Kingdoms #2)
The road to power... is paved with blood and magic.Cleo is now a prisoner in her own palace, forced to be an ambassador for Mytica as the evil King Gaius lies to her people.
Magnus stands to eventually inherit the new kingdom but is still obsessed with his feelings for his adopted sister, Lucia.
Lucia is haunted by the outcome of the breathtaking display of magic that allowed her father to capture the kingdoms.
Jonas watched at the palace gates a troop of rebels behind him, waiting for him to tell them how he plans to overtake King Gaius.
After a bloody siege, Auranos has been defeated, its young queen orphaned and dethroned. The three kingdoms—Auranos, Limeros, and Paelsia—are now unwillingly united as one country called Mytica. But the allure of ancient, dangerous magic beckons still, and with it the chance to rule not just Mytica, but the whole world over...
At the heart of the fray are four brave young people grappling for that magic and the power it promises. For Cleo, the magic would enable her to reclaim her royal seat. In Jonas's hands, it frees his nation, and in Lucia's, it fulfills the ancient prophecy of her destiny. And if the magic were Magnus's, he would finally prove his worth in the eyes of his cruel and scheming father, King Gaius, who rules Mytica with a punishing hand.
When Gaius begins to build a road into the Forbidden Mountains to physically link all of Mytica, he sparks a long-smoking fire in the hearts of the people that will forever change the face of this land. For Gaius's road is paved with blood, and its construction will have cosmic consequences.

Do you know the feeling when after finishing a good book,it takes some time and considerable effort to adapt to reality again,to make sense of your surroundings and comprehend the sentences that form in the lips of the people around you? When your mind is clouded and refuses to operate and the only thing that matters is to go back in this book,go back where your soul lies?Rebel Spring is one of those books. After I finished it,I could hear people moving and talking,I recognized the need to❝Evil is a choice one makes, not a natural state of being.❞ I'm not gonna take my time on this one and this review will be a lot shorter than most reviews. I'm just gonna get to the point: Rebel Spring was a lot more boring than Falling Kingdoms. Fallings Kingdoms was actually not boring and I actually gave it a rating of 4.5 stars simply because I am not a fan of incest so that kind of dragged it a little tiny bit. But other than that, I found Morgan's writing phenomenal and I loved the high
Right, strap yourselves in, here comes one of my most eloquent, detailed, intricate, complex reviews ever. Pronto?*takes a deeeep breath*I LOVE THE FUCK OUT OF THIS SERIES!!!

Well, I'm back for Round 2 of this series that my Pushy Librarian is making me read!If you don't have a Pushy Librarian of your own, I highly recommend you get one. Mine is very sweet once you get to know her...The first book, Falling Kingdoms, was a total bloodbath. Main characters that I thought would make it to the end of the series weren't any safer than the minor characters who barely had time to say OUCH! before someone killed them off. So, I was kinda expecting the same thing to happen in
1 StarOverview:I wasn't a huge fan of the first book. (2/5 stars)I found the writing cluttered and the dialogue stilted. The plotting sketchy at best, and the characters inherently unlikable. But I enjoyed reading it in a fun fantasy league, and thought there was potential. I was really hopeful this book would be a bit better....It got worse, guys. Just so much worse.Pros:*shrug*Ive got nothing. Cons:HOLD ON TO YOUR HATSI present to you, quite possibly the worst line Ive ever read: (As a
4.5 stars! Evil is a choice one makes, not a natural state of being. So I don't usually do this, but this review is going to be told mostly in gifs. To be more specific, Mean Girls gifs. AWWWW YEAAAHHHHH!!!!!Me while reading this series:After the events of the previous book, three kingdoms have become one under the rule of the tyrant King Gaius. The land has transformed into one where no one is safe and survival is not easy. The king has become crazy with the notion that magic will further
2 starsThe one redeeming quality of this book is the Super Sexy Scottish accent the narrator gives Magnus. Otherwise, I am sad to say I actually paid for this. There are so many things wrong with this book....everything from the themes (exploitation of sexual assault and harrassment) to the meat and bones of the book (terribly written dialogue, horrible character arcs). Is it possible that this book is even worse than the first one? Yes, yes it is. I don't think I've ever read such terrible
