Representaion In Pursuance Of Books Lost in Las Vegas (Carter House Girls #5)

Mix six teenaged girls and one ’60s fashion icon (retired, of course) in an old Victorian-era boarding home. Add boys and dating, a little high-school angst, and throw in a Kate Spade bag or two … and you’ve got The Carter House Girls, Melody Carlson’s new chick lit series for young adults!
In a whirlwind, DJ accepts “lonely” Taylor’s invitation to join her mom’s tour in Las Vegas during Christmas break. DJ soon discovers that the unsupervised Taylor is focused on one thing only—partying with a capital “P.” She’s invited Eliza, too, and DJ is quickly overwhelmed by the behavior of the wild duo. Desperate, she calls on Casey for help and prays for a miracle to help Taylor before she self-destructs.

Piece Appertaining To Books Lost in Las Vegas (Carter House Girls #5)
read my review here:http://ceceliadowdy.blogspot.com/2009...

i enjoyed reading this book, because im into reading girlie books and this pretty much covered my interests.

F CAR chg bk.5

It started off ok, but got really bogged down in some serious stuff. Despite being set at Christmas and a few mentions of DJ doing some Christmas shopping, it wasnt very Christmassy. The ending was abrupt and seemed to come out of nowhere. I like Casey more now, and Conner seems like a decent guy. He and DJ are cute together and have a great relationship.

Read this!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting better... ; )

I still really like this series, but I didn't like that a lot of the girls weren't really in it. This one was mainly about Taylor.
