meh.This is another for the "everyone loves it but me" shelf. Once again, I just couldn't really connect with Jack or Laurelyn. There were some things I really enjoyed -some very sweet lines, and sexy scenes, but for most of the book it felt like a lot of sex, and ALMOST drama leading up to an inevitable, and unexciting conclusion.I did appreciate that the author didn't go down (or at least not very far down) some of the drama roads she set up. 4.5 Jack Henry swoon-worthy stars!After that cliffy ending to Beauty From Pain, I couldn't wait to dive into this one. This book starts off right after Laurelyn moves back to the States. She doesn't say goodbye to Jack Henry...she just can't bear to see him say goodbye. This first part was a bit frustrating for me as it takes a while for him to find her.
