Chronicle In Favor Of Books Spell of the Highlander (Highlander #7)

It's taken him eleven centuries to find the right woman. He's not about to lose her now.

Jessi St. James has GOT to get a life. Too many hours studying ancient artifacts has given the archaeology student a bad case of sex on the brain. So she figures she must be dreaming when she spies a gorgeous half-naked man staring out at her from inside the glass of an ancient mirror. But when a split-second decision saves her from a terrifying attempt on her life, Jessi suddenly finds herself confronting six and a half feet of smoldering INSATIABLE alpha male.

Heir to the arcane magic of his Druid ancestors, Cian MacKeltar was trapped inside the Dark Glass eleven centuries ago. And when the Dark Glass is stolen, an ancient enemy will stop at nothing to reclaim it. For Jessi, the sex god in the mirror is not only tantalisingly real, he's offering his protection—from exactly what, Jessi doesn't know. And all he wants in exchange is the exquisite pleasure of sharing her bed....

Article About Books Spell of the Highlander (Highlander #7)
I love KMM's Highlander series - I haven't read the 1st 2 books yet but the other ones were all 5-star reads to me - so I was really anxious to see if this latest installment would live up to my high expectations. Well, I'm glad to say it was another winner. :)On a Friday night, close to midnight, Jessica St. James, an overworked and exhausted Archeology graduate student at the University of Chicago, is asked by her advisor, who's just suffered a car accident, to go to his office and receive a

Ugh. The whole time I was reading this, I was fully conscious that it was a lesser version of its predecessors. I didn't much care for Cian or Jessica, the now token presence of the other MacKelters felt trite, and Lucan was damn creepy.I guess now I know why it took me so long to read the Fever series after I finished this one.

Cian MacKeltar came into the world, at ten pounds three ounces OMG!!! HIS POOR MOTHER LOL... but honestly this is officially my favorite book of the series and Cian is my favorite highlander!More raw, more manly, more bad-ass, more powerful, and ooh god more erotic. No wonder the Keltar twins are so awesome they got great genes from him basically. The way KMM describes just oozes all those adjectives Powerfully built, with wide shoulders and rippling muscles, he wore a fabric of crimson

"Excepting with you, Jessica. You, lass, are the exception to everything. I'm not just stuck with you. You fit me here, woman." He thumped his chest with his fist Oh these sexy alpha Highlanders. They can be such arrogant arses when you first meet them but once they decide who their woman is then they turn into big huge possessive, sexy, sweet talking Neanderthals. Oh my gosh and since they are all from the past and have one way or another made it to our century can be quiet hilarious over the

Good book but didn't like it near as much as Kiss of the Highlander, The Dark Highlander, or The Immortal Highlander (which is my favorite). I know many readers of this series loved the relationship between the H/h and felt it the most romantic of the series. Personally, I had a hard time feeling the connection between the H/h in this book, and the plot and characters felt a little bland. That being said, Spell of the Highlander is a good book and worth the read.

I have to admit, before starting this book, I was what is officially known as a highlander virgin. My days I spent watching the TV show, Highlander (aptly put, dont you think?) doesnt come close to this!! This book had me humming and then full on singing the song to the highlander series. I am immortal! I have inside me blood of Kings *aaahhhh* I have no rivals. La la la la lasend me to the future of the world!! I had dreams of William Wallace aka Brave Heart, riding into his village on

Wow...I first started reading the highlander series in anticipation of finishing the fever series. I only read the first five of the fever series years ago and floved them. This is the book that really ties the highlanders to the fever series and I love it for that. But it is also Moning's alpha H and eternal love-mate bonding that makes this novel better. Her writing that describes the forever love and passionate devotion among her MCs is what makes me read romance novels. She captures the
