The Black Dagger Brotherhood continues to train the best of the best to join them in the deadly battle against the Lessening Society. Among the new recruits, Axe proves to be a cunning and vicious fighter—and also a loner isolated because of personal tragedy. When an aristocratic female needs a bodyguard, Axe takes the job, though he’s unprepared for the animal attraction that flares between him and the one he is sworn to protect.

For Elise, who lost her first cousin to a grisly murder, Axe’s dangerous appeal is enticing—and possibly a distraction from her grief. But as they delve deeper into her cousin’s death, and their physical connection grows into so much more, Axe fears that the secrets he keeps and his tortured conscience will tear them apart.

Rhage, the Brother with the biggest heart, knows all about self-punishing, and he wants to help Axe reach his full potential. But when an unexpected arrival threatens Rhage and Mary’s new family, he finds himself back in the trenches again, fighting against a destiny that will destroy all he holds most dear.

As Axe’s past becomes known, and fate seems to be turning against Rhage, both males must reach deep—and pray that love, rather than anger, will be their lantern in the darkness.

Evaluate Appertaining To Books Blood Vow (Black Dagger Legacy #2)
It is always such a treat for me to be able to visit the BDB world, and to see all of my favorite vampires too. I wasn't disappointed in the least, as we were given a glimpse into their lives once again, and the humor that is always present between the guys was their too! JR Ward has such a brilliant dialect, and she has created characters that are impossible not to love, as well as they are always so highly entertaining. My only reason for the four stars is because I did feel like the storyline

Genre: Paranormal RomanceType: Book 2 of Black Dagger LegacyPOV: Third PersonRating: Axwelle (Axe) son of Theirsh wanted to make something out of his life. As a trainee of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, he was ready for anything. When there was a job opening for a bodyguard, he took that opportunity without realizing how much it would impact his life.Elise blooded daughter of Felixe yearned to be free. Axe and EliseThere is magic involved every time I open a J.R. Wards book and then I suddenly land in Caldwell. When I am there, I usually hide in the dark alleys sniffing the air for baby powder smell and listening carefully for gunshots and body compacts,I cover myself at the back of Mannys ambulance behind a blanket making sure is empty on the way back to the mansion and everybody has already been home safe. Sometimes when it is not empty I listen carefully to sighs and encouragements and

Wanted more of the story focused on Axe and Elise, but still enjoyed it. Can't wait for Novo and Peyton's story!

4-4.5 stars - Paranormal/Vampire RomanceI really enjoyed this installment, especially the parts that focused on one of my all-time favorite romantic couples, Rhage and Mary, and the scenes with Lassiter. There's a new romance between the BDB trainee/fighter Axe and the aristocrat Elise, but it's largely a continuation of Rhage, Mary, and Bitty's story from The Beast.

Im stuck in the fucking chimney. I don't even have words to say about how grateful I picked this book up before Christmas. Blood Vow is the second installment of the Black Dagger Legacy series which is spinned off from the main one, Black Dagger Brotherhood. At first, I saw no reasons why J.R. Ward had to start her new series with the same setting and characters, but after I read Blood Kiss, I completely understood why she must do this. But the biggest fallacy people sell themselves is that
