Karen Kingsbury doesn't disappoint!Mixed feelings. How you live between Sunday's is a sign of your true character. I definitely agree with that comment. No argument there. However, I am not a fan of sports. Never have been and never will. I am especially leery of professional sports. Sports has become very idolized in today's world. I am afraid that there are likely far too many that are like Aaron Hill was at the beginning of the story. He was only concerned about his image. I didn't like him at all. He was self-centred and a
Amy Briggs is a single mom to an 8 year old son, Corey. When Amy dies from a bout with pneumonia, her best friend Megan Gunn becomes Coreys foster mother. Megan Gunn is a young twenty something now turned foster mom. Megan herself was a foster child so she understands Coreys situation. She works three jobs to make ends meet for her and her unexpected son. Corey is obsessed with the 49ers, and claims their quarterback, Aaron Hill, is his father.Aaron Hill is the hotshot quarterback for the NFL

I really loved this book!
Who we are between Sundays is what matters most. This is an enjoyable, clean lit read. Pretty predictable but good nonetheless. Enjoy!
I really liked this book. Author, Karen Klingsbury is a Christian writer of fiction, formally a sports writer. She was inspired to write this book after meeting and getting to know the San Francisco quarterback, Alex Smith in real life, whose passion is helping foster kids. She was impressed with what he does on the field, but even more so off the field,"between Sundays", Between Sundays is about sweet 8 y/o Cory who is being raised by his foster mom, Megan, who was his mom's best friend before
I loved this book. It was a nice refreshing change from some of the things I've read lately. I did not realize that this was a faith-based book until I started reading. This did not take away from the story at all. I have read other faith-based books where God is and His will was repeatedly shoved down the reader's throat but this one did not do that. I am Christian but sometimes it's a bit daunting and takes away from the story when the whole book revolves about getting a non-believer to
