I have to say that I have fallen hard for Kristen Ashley's writing! After reading Kim's review, I immediately downloaded and dug in! Below are just a few of my thoughts.I loved this story! As the synopsis states, Kia has lived her young adult life married to a monster. Seven long years she has endured and tried to hide the physical and psychological abuse she has suffered from her husband. And now, suddenly, she finds herself free! I loved Kias journey, her healing and finding herself again.

Kia Clementine is finally free. Not only is her abusive, cheating husband dead, but she collected his life insurance. Of course, she's also traumatized, not only because of the abuse, but learning that he and his mistress were planning to kill her so that they could collect the insurance - not cool at all. So she packs up and decides to make a tour of Europe. She was enjoying herself at Lago di Como, when she sees Sampson Cooper, the pro football, ex-commando celebrity. Since she spent a lot of

Thank you Kristen Ashley :) I don't think I've ever been so emotionaly involved while reading books untill I started reading KA. This was no exception.
